Christopher Wheeldon’s production of An American in Paris is coming to London’s West End, with performances at the Dominion Theatre from spring 2017.
Inspired by the Oscar-winning film, featuring music by George and Ira Gershwin, the production opened at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris before transferring to Broadway, where it won Wheeldon the Tony award for best choreographer.
The London production will be led by its original stars, New York City Ballet’s Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope, formerly of The Royal Ballet. Further casting is still to be announced. Tickets are now on sale from www.AnAmericaninParisTheMusical.co.uk.
